Sister of the Week

Congrats, Catie! You deserve to be recognized as a “Sister of the Week!’

Catie has been a true example of the importance of getting involved within the chapter. In her time in Alpha Chi, she has acted as a Recruitment Day Chair, the VP Risk Management, the Assistant to VP of Risk Management, a Bylaw Committee Chair, and a Fashion Show Silent Auction Angel. She has also been involved in Alpha Chi’s Bible Study and founded the Lyres and Leashes Humane Society Dog Walking Program.

Outside of the chapter, she has taken the time to make an impact on many other student organizations. Catie is the president of Best Buddies at TCU, a TCU Ambassador, a member of Sigma Delta Pi (Spanish Honor Society), a member of Alpha Delta Pi (Honors Society), a volunteer with TCU Leaps, a member of Eta Iota Sigma (Christian Sorority), a member of the Order of Omega (Greek Honors Society), and is apart of the Honors College on campus.

When asked why Catie should be put in the spotlight as “Sister of the Week,” the sister who nominated her said “I truly look up to Catie in the chapter. I am proud to have her as a sister because she is one of my role models at TCU. She is an inspirational woman full of passion to make a difference and deserves to be recognized for it!”

This summer, Catie is working at SweetFrog fro-yo located on University Drive in Fort Worth. She is also tutoring others on the subjects of Spanish and Chemistry on her break. She is looking forward to traveling with her family to Amsterdam, Helsinki, Berlin, and St. Petersburg later this summer. She will also be taking a Baltic Sea Cruise! While she has been in Fort Worth, she has been spending time with lots of her Alpha Chi sisters, especially her grandlittle Madison Gottlieb.

When Catie heard that she was going to be this week’s “Sister of the Week,” she said “I was so excited to be nominated! It’s my birthday next week so it was like a birthday present from all my sisters. I love this chapter so much and I am so blessed to have found so many amazing friends in Alpha Chi. I can’t wait to see everyone in August for recruitment!”

Congratulations, Catie! All of your Alpha Chi sisters want you to know that your efforts have been recognized and we are so proud of everything you have accomplished! Don’t forget to keep sending in nominations and tune in next week to see who will be the next spotlighted sister!
