The official chapter reuniting countdown is now down to the single digits. Our Alpha Chi recruitment team is hard at work preparing for this year’s upcoming work week and, of course, formal recruitment. One of the recruitment team members is being recognized for her hard work- Allie Roberts.
Allie, a sophomore Interior Design major and Lighting minor, is the COB, Continuous Open Bidding, Chairman for our chapter. She, along with the entire recruitment team, has been waiting all summer to start preparing for this chapter’s best recruitment yet. She is eager to welcome our newest pledge class and cannot wait to become a big.
When she is not spending her time with Alpha Chi, Allie is keeping her studies at the forefront of her priorities. She is a member of the TCU Interior Design Association and spent her summer vacation working at Lifestyles, a lighting and furniture store in Oklahoma. She also traveled to Disney World and Colorado on her time off.
When asked why Allie should be “Sister of the Week,” the nominating sister said “Allie has such a kind heart and a warm essence about her. I love having her as a sister because I feel like she inspires me to be a better person and acts a role model on how to balance involvement in the chapter and other school related activities. Allie deserves to be put in the spotlight because the combination of her hard work and her humble nature represents what it means to be an Alpha Chi.”
Allie was so excited when she found out she would be this week’s spotlighted sister. She replied, “I feel very honored to be nominated Sister of the Week and be recognized by my fellow sisters. I think Sister of the Week is a great way for the amazing women in our chapter to be recognized and appreciated.”
Keep up the good work Allie and we can’t wait to see you in a few days! Although we will be together next week, we will continue the Sister of the Week program so tune in next week to see who will be our next spotlighted sister!
